Terms of use
The ground rules for using this website.
1. What this site is
Information about GunTex and its work. Prices and lead times can change, and mistakes may be corrected.
2. Requests
A request for a consultation or an answer is a request, not a contract. The shop may decline any request. An agreement exists when the shop has accepted it in writing and emailed an invoice. Nothing is bought or paid for on this website, and no firearm is sold through it.
3. Your responsibility
You’re responsible for knowing and following the law where you live, including the law on buying, owning and transporting firearms.
4. The Journal
How-to pieces are general guidance, offered freely and in good faith. They aren’t a substitute for your firearm’s manual or for having a gunsmith look at it. If you aren’t sure, stop and ask. Always confirm a firearm is unloaded before you handle it.
5. History
The shop takes care to get its history right and lists its sources. If you find an error, say so and it will be corrected.
6. Words and drawings
The text and drawings on this site belong to GunTex. Ask before you reuse them.
7. Governing law
The laws of the State of Texas.
