Privacy
What this site collects, where it’s kept, what it’s used for, and what it never asks for.
1. What you give us
Your name, email address, town, a phone number if you give one, and what you tell us: about your firearm and the work you want, or a firearm you’d like to buy, sell or trade. For a consultation, the days and times that suit you.
2. What the site never asks for
Serial numbers. License numbers. Your date of birth. Photographs of your ID. Anything from a background check. Card or bank details: nothing is paid on this website.
3. Where it’s kept
Requests are stored on the shop’s own server, only so the shop can answer them and keep the records the law requires.
4. What it’s used for
To reply to you, to book a consultation, to prepare an estimate or an invoice, and to keep the records the law requires. Nothing else.
5. Who sees it
The shop, and the service that delivers the shop’s email.
6. What is never done with it
GunTex does not sell or rent customer information. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
7. Email
You’ll hear from the shop about your own request. There’s no newsletter unless you ask for one.
8. Keeping and deleting
Requests are kept as long as needed to do the work and meet the shop’s legal obligations. Ask and we’ll delete what the law lets us delete.
